April 24 What to do, What to do! Well it looks like my friend isn't going to be able to secure the house that he was going to get so I can stay with him and his family when I get to Mexico. So now I'm looking all over for a place to stay for three months and I'm having the hardest time. This sucks! I have someplace to stay for my first two days and that's it. I'm hoping one of my other friends will let me stay with them. If not, then hopefully I can get a good deal on some place when I'm there. I'm going to try to look on the bright side of things. At least I'm able and lucky enough to be spending three months in Mexico.   April 17 Pissed Off! I sent my money to go to this school in Guadalajara and now I'm not going (like I mentioned in my last post). I emailed them to ask them for a refund and they aren't replying at all. I spent $1400 to go that school and I don't know what to do. I really need that money. I guess I'll try calling them but it's long distance. I just hope they answer their phone. Well wish me luck everyone! April 12 Change of Plans I haven't been able to write on here in a while because my computer at home won't upload my page anymore and it sucks.
Well I've changed my mind about going to the school to get my teaching certification in May. I don't really want to teach English. In my heart I really want to teach Spanish. So I need to get started on doing my career. I'm still going to Mexico though at the end of May and I'm so excited. I'm going to go visit my friends and improve my spanish. I'm going to be there until September and I can't wait. I can hardly contain my excitement. The place is so fun and I feel so happy there. I know it sounds funny but when I'm in Mexico it feels like that's where I truly belong. I know it and one day I know I'll be there for good. Have any of you guys ever felt like that when you went to a place?
Right now I need to get my Master's because I want to teach Spanish in a University. So when I come back I'll be enrolling in a school, either Western Michigan University or the University of Texas in Austin. |
